In short
If Maitre runs on your website, your own privacy policy should say so. Copy the paragraph below into it, and the short line into your site's footer. Change the bracketed restaurant name. You stay responsible for your policy; ask your lawyer if you are unsure what else your location requires.
1. Paragraph for your privacy policy
Our website uses an AI host provided by Maitre (Jeshwanth Anthony, doing business as HireMaitre) to answer questions and take pickup orders. Chat messages, voice-call text and order details you share with the host are recorded and processed by Maitre and its AI provider, OpenAI, as our service providers, are visible to our staff, and are deleted by Maitre 90 days after the conversation unless we delete them sooner. Voice audio is not stored. They are not sold, shared for advertising, or used to train AI models. See Maitre's Privacy Policy at hiremaitre.com/privacy.
3. How to use it
- Link "[Restaurant name] Privacy Policy" to your own policy, on every page where the widget loads.
- Keep the widget's built-in notices; the Terms of Service do not allow removing them.
- If you change providers or settings in a way this text no longer describes, update your policy.
